Position Summary

The DMV Title Registration Clerk performs a variety of administrative duties related to vehicle documentation, including processing taxes, titles, registrations, license plates, and other legal documents related to vehicle sales and ownership transfers. This role supports inventory tracking, record keeping, reporting, and dealer trade worksheet management while maintaining communication with dealership personnel and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle documentation such as tax and title records, registrations, and license plates.
  • Assist with vehicle inventory control and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Process contractual documentation with financial institutions.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports and reconcile schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with dealership staff and external partners.
  • Process title work with CVR or DMV promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, local, and company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Handle dealer trade worksheets required for vehicle transfers between parties or dealers.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

Work Hours

  • Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • CVR certification required.
  • Experience with dealership operations and Reynolds and Reynolds software is preferred.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Friendly, helpful attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic.
  • Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Availability to work scheduled hours including evenings and Saturdays.
